Cardiff Docks Panorama 1932

Cardiff Docks 1932

An excellent aerial photo of Cardiff Docks taken in 1932. The big dock with two ships on the right is Queen Alexandra Dock. Above it, to the right, is Roath Dock and above it, to the left, is Roath Basin. Just left of centre is Bute East Dock and to the left of that is Bute West Dock. On the far left is the old ship canal sometimes known as the Sealock. Just above Roath Dock is the East Moors Steel Works.

And somewhere to the north is the house on Melrose Avenue where my Mum lived!

Thanks to Wales Online for this one.
