Booking
All Cardiff Walking Tours must be booked in advance. The dates and times are shown on the calendar on the Book Now page.
Confirmation of your booking will be sent to the email address you provide. This will include the details of the date, time, meeting place and price to pay.
Payment
Payment for all Cardiff walking tours should be made in cash to the guide at the start of the walking tour. Invoices can be issued for group and corporate bookings.
Children
With the exception of school groups and other large groups, there is no charge for children under the age of sixteen taking part in the The Essential Cardiff Walking Tour, Fear & Loathing, Bay Ramble, Cardiff's Hidden Town Wall, Cardiff's High Victorian Dream and the Cardiff & the World Wars walking tours. They must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. A maximum of three children are allowed per adult. The adults are responsible for the behaviour and safety of their children at all times.

Large Groups and School Trips
All groups of ten or more and all school groups must book all walking tours in advance. Children in school groups pay a discounted rate and accompanying staff are free of charge. Discounts are available for all groups of ten or more visitors.
The Penarth Trek is not suitable for school groups.
Weather
Customers should wear clothing and footwear that is suitable for the weather conditions at the time of the walking tour. Cardiff On Foot recommends that customers wear comfortable walking shoes and bring wet weather clothing. In the event of extreme weather conditions such as torrential rain or ice underfoot, Cardiff On Foot may cancel a walking tour. Cardiff On Foot will make every effort to contact customers about any cancellation as early as possible.
Liability
Cardiff On Foot accepts no liability for any injuries on walking tours that it arranges around Cardiff to customers or others which occur during the guided walk unless directly the fault of the guide. Customers are responsible for their own safety throughout the walking tours. Cardiff On Foot accepts no responsibility for the loss or theft of any personal items while partaking in a walking tour around Cardiff. Every effort is made to route the walking tours away from traffic. Where the walks cross or run alongside roads customers are responsible for their own and their children’s safety.
Behaviour
Cardiff On Foot reserves the right to refuse service to or remove anyone who is disruptive or aggressive to staff. Aggression in any form is considered totally unacceptable, and guides have total authority to remove from a walking tour anyone they feel is behaving in an unacceptable manner. Any actions regarded to be overly aggressive will be reported to the Police, with details of the offence.
Personal Information
Cardiff On Foot understands the importance of keeping information about customers confidential and secure. Information collected may include customers’ personal information such as name, phone number and email address. Cardiff On Foot will make sure that we look after customer information and use it responsibly. Customers accept and consent to the collection, storage and processing of customer information for the purposes of conducting, selling and promoting our guided walks around Cardiff. Customer data will be not distributed to any third parties without the customer’s express permission. Cardiff On Foot may collect personal information when customers purchase guided walks around Cardiff, contact us or provide certain content to Cardiff On Foot such as testimonials and customer reviews.
By accepting the booking or making payment the customer accepts Cardiff on Foot’s terms and conditions.
